Astroblast could have done more to incorporate more extensive fact-based science content, given its setting in space, but it certainly hits the mark in presenting healthy, supportive friendships and excellent examples of conflict resolution. With six very distinct personalities among the main characters and a rotating cast of visitors to the clubhouse-inspired space station, every kid will find someone with whom he or she can identify, and that makes the stories' messages more tangible to its preschool audience. Youre not just trying to clear the grid, youre trying to guide a spaceship through the cosmos. True to life, it's not always a quick process, and sometimes there are hurt feelings involved, but the learning process is a great way to help illustrate the cause and effect of similar scenarios to your kids.
